Khattak blamed 16 PTI members for horse-trading

ISLAMABAD: Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to take action against members of the assembly involved in horse-trading from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Senate elections.

A session of the PTI’s core group had held under the presidency of PTI Chief. While, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Jehangir Tareen, Pervez Khattak and Asad Umar attended the session. According to sources, they reviewed the situation after the Senate elections. And they also consulted on the names of the Senate chairman and deputy chairman. During the session, CM KP submitted the report about the members who allegedly involved in the horse-trading. CM KP has highlighted 16 names of members alleged for horse-trading in the Senate elections. While these members are relating to the provincial assembly of KPK.

PTI chief, IK has ordered straight action and further investigation against members involved in the horse-trading. Imran Khan further said that if horse-trading proved then the members sold will become the cause of the party’s defamation. These members have no place in PTI.

During the meeting, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Parvez Khattak presented a report on horse-trading in Senate elections from his province. According to sources, the report has allegations against 16 members of PTI. The report alleged that these members have taken the money and sold their vote.
