New Delhi: Chinese hackers hacked websites of several key ministries including the Indian Defense Ministry.
A gang of Chinese hackers had hacked the website of the Indian Defense Ministry. After hacking, the website was showing a Chinese letter, which means “Home”. And a message ” Please try again later” was there. While on this matter, Indian Defense Minister Nirmala Sudharam wrote on Twitter that proper action is taking place against hacking. Nirmala further stated that they are taking steps to avoid such incidents in the future.
Action is initiated after the hacking of MoD website ( https://t.co/7aEc779N2b ). The website shall be restored shortly. Needless to say, every possible step required to prevent any such eventuality in the future will be taken. @DefenceMinIndia @PIB_India @PIBHindi

On the other hand, the Indian Broadcasting agency “Times Now” had expressed anger over the government. “China has hacked the site due to lack of proper security for the defense website”, Times Now. Channel’s Manager for National Affairs Sanjoye Chaudhary confirmed and said that China has hacked the Ministry of Defense website. And for it, they selected that time when India put information about 110 combat aircraft on the website.
According to Times of India, shortly after the attack on the Indian Defense Ministry’s website, the websites of the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Law, were also down. For which they are also charging on Chinese hackers.
