COAS, Gen Bajwa has said that they have still to do much against terrorism and extremism.
According to the statement issued by the ISPR, the Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa met the Chiefs of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. As stated by ISPR, those who met the COAS include Senators, Traders, MNAs, Lawyers, and Teachers. Furthermore, Army chief expressed his views on the military’s achievements and security situation in the fight against terrorism. However, the ISPR stated that the Army Chief said that as a nation we have faced worst time. But, we have still to do much against terrorism and extremism.
Moreover, the Army Chief appreciated the determination of the people of Pakistan, especially FATA and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. And said that Pak Army fully supports social and economic development in affected areas, ISPR. According to ISPR, Gen Bajwa said that this is the time to unite for peace, stability, and moving forward.
