Islamabad: The National Assembly has unanimously approved a “condemnable resolution” against anti-woman remarks.

The lawmaker of PTI, Sheri Mizari presented the resolution in the National Assembly against the use of impolite words about women. In the context of the resolution, Sheri Mizari had included the names of Punjab law minister, Rana Sanaullah, and Abid Sher Ali. However, she removed the names of the two leaders of the N League from the resolution on the objection of Speaker NA Ayaz Sadiq.

Moreover, Mizari also demanded that the leaders should apologize on the floor of the house for using impolite words regarding women. After the change in the resolution’s context, NA has approved it unanimously. Meanwhile, women leaders of PTI staged a demonstration in Islamabad against Rana Sanaullah and Talal Chudry. They also demanded that the PML-N’s leaders should apoligize on the use of impolite words regarding women. Furthermore, PTI women leaders also demanded that Maryam Nawaz and Nawaz Sharif should need to stop their party leaders from women’s embarrassment.
